Africa Opportunity Fund Ltd - Announces that the partial mandatory redemption of the company's Shares announced last week Monday has been completed with the redemption of 8.7 million shares at the prevailing net asset value per share of USD0.869. The shares were cancelled automatically following their redemption. Payments of redemption proceeds are expected on or around May 31.
