abrdn PLC - Edinburgh-based investment manager - Says Stephanie Bruce says remains its chief financial officer and "no decisions have been taken regarding any change while succession planning is underway". Bruce has been CFO since May 2019.
abrdn is responding to a Bloomberg report on Thursday that Bruce is planning to leave in the coming months. Bloomberg says an abrdn spokesperson confirmed the change. "Stephanie initiated a conversation earlier in 2022," Bloomberg quotes the spokesperson as saying. "We are actively recruiting a replacement for her. There will be a smooth and orderly transition."

"The board regularly reviews succession planning with and for the executive team," abrdn says on Friday.
abrdn saw assets under management fall by 17% at the halfway point of 2022 from a year before, and it swung to an interim loss. The company returned to the FTSE 100 on Monday this week, following a three-month relegation to the FTSE 250.
