Home Retail CEO Terry Duddy Plans To Resign By Next AGM On July 2

4th Sep 2013 06:51

MILTON KEYNES (Alliance News) - Home Retail Group Plc's (HOME.L, HMRLF.PK) Chief Executive, Terry Duddy, intends to step down from his position by the next AGM on July 2, 2014. Meanwhile, the search for his successor would be headed by the Group's Chairman, John Coombe, comprising both internal and external candidates.

John Coombe, Home Retail Group's chairman commented: "Terry is one of the longest serving Chief Executives in the industry and he has provided strong leadership during one of the toughest periods of economic uncertainty faced by the business. As a result of the Group's exceptional cash generation in recent years, we have the financial strength to support both Argos and Homebase in delivering their strategic plans."
