27th Aug 2026 15:12

(Alliance News) - Headlam Group PLC shares dropped on Thursday after the floor covering distributor said it had completed the sale of its businesses in the Netherlands.

Shares in Coleshill, England-based Headlam fell 7% at 9.72 pence in London in afternoon trading, after dropping as much as 12% earlier in the day.

The assets included in the deal, Headlam Holdings BV, Headlam BV and Dersimo BV, were sold for EUR850,000 to SIL 2025 Ltd, a company managed by Rcapital Partners LLP.

Headlam said net proceeds after costs of around EUR170,000 would be used for general working capital purposes.

Headlam Chief Executive Officer Rob Barclay said: "The completion of the sale of our Netherlands businesses marks another step towards creating a simpler, more focused Headlam, centred solely on the UK market."
