LONDON (Alliance News) - Gulfsands Petroleum PLC Wednesday said it has raised GBP1.5 million in a placing of 47 million shares at a price of 3.125 pence each.
Shares in Gulfsands Petroleum were down 4.0% at 3.00 pence Wednesday.
The shares were subscribed for by existing shareholders in the company, Waterford Finance & Investment Ltd, companies owned and or controlled by Richard Griffiths, and ME Investments Ltd, and the proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes, the company said.
