(Alliance News) - Greatland Resources Ltd on Thursday delivered significantly higher profit and revenue in financial year 2026, supported by a full year of output from its Telfer assets.
The Subiaco, Australia-based gold and copper producer said net profit after tax more than doubled to AUD862.3 million, USD619.3 million, in the year to June 30 from AUD337.3 million a year earlier.
Sales revenue also more than doubled to AUD2.26 billion from AUD957.4 million.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation surged to AUD1.33 billion from AUD466 million.
Greatland said closing cash was AUD1.29 billion compared to AUD575 million a year ago.
Operating cash flow stood at AUD1.24 billion while free cash flow was AUD737 million.
Greatland produced a total of 329,987 ounces of gold and 14,594 tonnes of copper in financial 2026 at an all-in sustaining cost of AUD2,179 per ounce of gold produced.
Managing Director Shaun Day said: "FY26 was another transformative year for Greatland. Our first full financial year of Telfer under our ownership delivered exceptional operating results, driven by significant productivity improvements in our open pit and underground mines, and an excellent performance in our processing operations."
For financial year 2027, Greatland expects gold production between 260,000 to 300,000 ounces at an AISC range of AUD2,900 to AUD3,300 per ounce of gold produced.
Growth capital spending is forecast to be around AUD315 million to AUD335 million at Telfer and AUD365 million to AUD435 million at Havieron.
Resource development and exploration expenditure is expected to reach AUD70 million to AUD80 million.
"The investments we make in FY27 will set the foundations for a period of production growth delivered by a higher quality, longer life, gold-copper production centre in the Paterson region," added MD Day.
Greatland shares fell 1.8% to AUD13.29 each in Sydney on Thursday morning.
