(Alliance News) - Global Resources Investment Trust PLC said Tuesday that negotiations with Croatian shipping company Makar Navis Doo to sell its 27% stake in Anglo-African Minerals PLC, has been terminated.
Global Resources shares closed 14% lower in London at 4.00 pence each on Tuesday evening.
Global Resources said it has been informed by Anglo-African Minerals that discussions with other interested parties continue and that it is in the process of appointing advisors to help devise an appropriate strategy to realize the value in the company.
Back in August, Global Resources had said that it was in discussions with Makar Navis Doo to sell its Anglo-African Minerals stake for USD5.2 million.
The company had said the sale would lift its net asset value per share and the the disposal would be finalized in due course.
