Gfinity To Run Two Call Of Duty World League Events In 2017

LONDON (Alliance News) - e-Sports company Gfinity PLC on Thursday said it has been appointed to run two Call of Duty World League events in 2017 by US video game developer Activision Blizzard.

The company will host two events in London as part of the Call of Duty World League, Presented by PlayStation4 series of events. Call of Duty is one of the most popular first-person shooter games on the market.

No financial details on the contract were disclosed.

"We are proud to be chosen again by Activision Blizzard to host a series of Call of Duty tournaments. This is the fourth year in a row that we have partnered with Activision Blizzard to deliver a series of very popular eSports events," said Neville Upton, Gfinity's chief executive.
