(Alliance News) - Gateley Holdings PLC shares rose on Monday after it said Austen Hays, its class action branch, had secured a settlement in its first class action.
Gateley shares rose 4.6% at 60.66 pence at noon in London.
The Birmingham, England-based legal and consultancy firm said the settlement represented a "significant milestone for Austen Hays, and a resolution for the clients involved in the case."
The group said settlement payments, which will be available before March 31 next year, are expected to reduce its net debt position.
Gateley said it would provide further detail in its pre-close trading update for the first half year.
