GAN To Supply Services To Michigan Sites After State Gambling Approval

27th Mar 2020 18:44

(Alliance News) - Gambling software supplier GAN PLC on Friday said it will be supplying services to a number of casino sites in Michigan after the US state recently legalised online internet casino gaming.

GAN added that a bill approving internet sports betting in Michigan was approved in December

The company added that it will provide "its technology platform together with certain operational services" to five land-based casino properties operated by the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Michigan. GAN will also offer the same service to one of its existing clients, an anonymous "major US casino operator".

GAN Chief Executive Jeff Berman said: "Michigan has long represented an attractive market with both internet sports and internet casino gaming now regulated. Our technical expertise and 'day one' experience in multiple US internet gambling markets will enable the Sault Tribe to capture their share of the online opportunity. We thank them for their trust in forming this relationship with GAN and our major US casino operator client whose identity will be confirmed in due course."

GAN shares closed 3.5% lower at 137.00 pence each in London on Friday.
