Galliford Try appointed to GBP9.5 billion public sector framework

21st Jul 2026 11:54

(Alliance News) - Galliford Try Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has been appointed to the GBP9.5 billion Crescent Purchasing Consortium construction and capital works framework.

The London-based construction company said it has been appointed to all five regional lots across England, Wales and Scotland for the framework.

It covers construction projects in education and the wider public sector for a maximum of eight years.

CPC is a charity that helps education and public sector organisations buy goods and services.

"It will support a broad range of new-build construction and refurbishment schemes from schools, colleges and universities to healthcare and civic infrastructure," Galliford Try said.

Chief Executive Bill Hocking added: "We are pleased with our appointment to this new education-related framework, reflecting our position as one of the leading contractors for the sector. We look forward to working with CPC and its clients as we continue to develop high-quality educational facilities and wider public sector projects for communities across the country."

Shares in Galliford Try were up 1.5% at 596.90 pence on Tuesday morning in London.
