Feedback shares fall as eyes interim revenue decline; hails award

19th Dec 2023 14:31

(Alliance News) - Feedback PLC on Tuesday said it expected a decline in half-year revenue as it announced an award for community diagnostic care centre pathways.

The London-based specialist clinical communication company said it expects revenue to decline by 23% to about GBP440,000 in the six months to November 30, from GBP570,000 a year prior.

"This is primarily due to the prior period being positively impacted by the QVH/Sussex ICS pilot contract, which was signed in September 2022 but covered the 12-month period from 31 March 2022, and, the planned ongoing decline in legacy product revenues as these legacy contracts reach the end of term," Feedback explained.

Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalents as at November 30 were down 42% to GBP5.4 million from GBP9.2 million a year ago.

Further, Feedback said it has been awarded pilot funding to undertake a series of programmes of community diagnostic centre care pathways. The company said it has directly contracted with individual NHS organisations hosting the pilot sites utilising funds locally disbursed for this purpose under NHS England's community diagnostic centre programme.

The pilots will initially run until the end of March.

"Two pilot sites are participating in the programme - Amersham CDC in Buckinghamshire and a pan regional pilot across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire ICS (BOB ICS), looking at multiple service lines and mutual aid delivery models for sharing workforce capacity at a regional basis through the Bleepa platform," Feedback explained.

Chief Executive Tom Oakley said: "Bleepa has already demonstrated a 69% reduction in wait times through the power of asynchronous communication and a pathway approach with Queen Victoria Hospital in Sussex. This is the sort of impact data that will support the NHS to address elective care backlogs and to help ease winter pressures. It is a privilege to work with a number of new NHS partners to help them deliver this impact for their patients and staff."

Feedback shares fell 2.5% to 70.20 pence each on Tuesday afternoon in London.
