EXECUTIVE CHANGES: St James House to rename as Tintra as hires founder

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

THG PLC - Manchester-based online retailer trading as The Hut Group - As part of an effort to improve corporate governance, THG forms a stand-alone Risk Committee of its board. This will be chaired by Independent Non-Executive Director Zillah Byng-Thorne and include two other independent non-executive directors, Damian Sanders and Dominic Murphy. Tiffany Hall will chair the board's Remuneration Committee, replacing Sanders, who will remain a member of that committee. "These changes highlight the board's recognition of the importance of strong corporate governance and reinforce its continued commitment to ensuring that a robust corporate governance framework is in place which underpins the long-term prospects of the group," says THG Executive Chair Matthew Moulding.

St James House PLC - Windsor, Berkshire-based IT services - Proposes to rename company Tintra PLC, as its hires Richard Shearer as chief executive officer and executive director, starting Friday. Shearer is founder of Dubai-based Tintra Holdings Ltd, which acts as a family office and investment manager for emerging market clients. Associated firm Tintra Acquisitions Ltd holds a 9.9% stake in St James House. It is controlled by John Cripps, a director of St James House. Tintra Holdings and Tintra Acquisitions have entered relationship agreements with St James House that include commitments to avoid conflicts of interest. The name change will be proposed at the company's July 30 annual general meeting. Back in March, St James House had entered a financing and commercial agreement with Tintra Acquisitions, including licensing the Tintra brand.

NQ Minerals PLC - Hellyer and Beaconsfield gold mines in Tasmania - Hires Richard Poulden as non-executive director, effective immediately, replacing Allen Ambrose. Poulden was chair & CEO of former London-listed potash project developer Sirius Minerals PLC. He currently is chair of AIM-listed miner Wishbone Gold PLC and of AQSE-listed Valereum Blockchain PLC.

Salt Lake Potash Ltd - Western Australia-focused organic sulphate of potash miner - Hires Rebecca Morgan as non-executive director, effective from June 22. Morgan is raw materials manager at Sydney-listed Minbos Resources Ltd.

DigitalBox PLC - Bath, England-based owner of digital media brands Entertainment Daily, Daily Mash and the Tab - Hires Phil Machray as independent non-executive director, effective immediately, replacing Matthew Armitage. Machray has worked for publisher Reach PLC since 2004 as director of Corporate Development, chief operating officer of Regionals, and managing director of Digital Marketing Services.
