EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Celtic Passes Ball To Rugby Exec As CEO Retires

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Celtic PLC - Glasgow football club - Peter Lawwell resigns as chief executive officer, retiring on June 30. Lawwell has been CEO of Celtic for 17 years, during which time the football club won 13 league titles and made the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League three times. Dominic McKay, currently chief operating officer of the Scottish Rugby Union, will become Celtic's new CEO, starting July 1. At Scottish Rugby, which he joined in 2008, McKay has been responsible for commercial matters, corporate affairs, government relations, stadium and facilities, as well as overseeing the development of Scottish rugby clubs Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby in Europe. McKay also is chair of Guinness Pro14 Rugby League.

Lloyds Banking Group PLC - London-based lender - Sara Weller will retire as non-executive director at the annual general meeting in May, after serving for nine years.

LondonMetric Property PLC - real estate investment trust focused on urban logistics - Hires Kitty Patmore as independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Patmore is chief financial officer of land and property regeneration company Harworth Group PLC.

Anglo African Oil & Gas PLC - AIM-listed cash shell - Phil Beck resigns as non-executive director, effective immediately.
