AIB Group PLC - Dublin-based bank - Hires Fergal O'Dwyer as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately. O'Dwyer retired as chief financial officer of DCC PLC last year, having joined the FTSE 100 support services firm in 1989.

Beazley PLC - London-based specialist insurance - Andrew Likierman to step down from board at end of annual general meeting on March 26, having completed two three-year terms. John Sauerland also will stand down at the AGM.

Carclo PLC -West Yorkshire-based engineering for medical, optical and aerospace industries - Appoints Frank Doorenbosch as non-executive director, starting February 1. Doorenbosch is a plastics industry veteran, having spent most of his career at former London-listing RPC Group PLC.

GCM Resources PLC - Phulbari coal and power project in north west Bangladesh - Promotes Chief Operating Officer Gary Lye to board as executive director, effective immediately. Lye also is chief executive officer of GCM subsidiary Asia Energy Corp (Bangladesh) Pty Ltd. He has worked on the Phulbari project since 2004 and led the exploration programme and feasibility study

Restaurant Group PLC - operates 400 restaurants under Wagamama, Frankie & Benny's and Brunning & Price brands - Hires Alex Gersh as non-executive director, starting February 23. Gersh currently is CFO of sports data firm Sportradar. Among previous roles, Gersh was CFO of gambling company Paddy Power Betfair Group, now called Flutter Entertainment PLC.

Vast Resources PLC - mining and mine development in Romania and Zimbabwe - Hires Marcus Brewster as general manager of its Baita Plai polymetallic mine in Romania. Brewster has 24 years mining experience, including with Hummingbird Resources PLC, Endeavour Mining Corp, Nordgold & Gold Fields Ltd. Vast says product and sales of concentrate at the Baita Plai miner continue to be in line with expectations.
