Ex-Conviviality CEO Hunter Leaves Downing Strategic Non-Exec Role

LONDON (Alliance News) - Downing Strategic Micro-Cap Investment Trust PLC said on Wednesday Non-Executive Director Diana Hunter, former chief executive of Conviviality PLC, has resigned from the board.

Hunter left alcohol wholesaler Conviviality in mid-March as it continued to deal with the hangover from its unexpected GBP30 million UK tax bill. Last Thursday, the firm called in administrators after failing to secure funding.

Shares in Downing Strategic Micro-Cap were 0.9% lower at 91.42 pence each on Wednesday.
