Everyman Media Trades In Line In 2014, New Sites Due In 2015

14th Jan 2015 09:36

LONDON (Alliance News) - Cinema operator Everyman Media Group PLC on Wednesday said its 2014 trading was in line with market expectations and outlined plans for new sites to open in 2015.

Everyman said it operated ten sites in 2014 and said it started new marketing initiatives to promote its brand, including pop-up cinemas in Battersea Power Station and at London department store Selfridges.

Everyman said it expects to open two new sites in the first half of 2015, comprising one at the Mailbox in Birmingham and one in Canary Wharf. It has also exchanged contracts on sites in Bristol, Harrogate and Cirencester, all of which it expects to open in the next 18 months.

The company said it is also in talks to open a number of other sites.

Everyman said it believes the film release line-up for the coming year looks strong and is confident on its outlook.

Everyman shares were untraded on Wednesday morning, having last traded at 85.70 pence.
