EnSilica shares rise as announces deal win, joins satellite project

3rd Aug 2026 10:57

(Alliance News) - EnSilica PLC on Monday said it has won a second deal worth EUR1.7 million from a European satellite maker.

EnSilica shares rose 4.0% to 78.00 pence each in London on Monday morning.

The Oxford, England-based computer microchip maker for space and communications, industrial, and automotive markets said the deal follows the completion of an earlier feasibility contract for a new satellite communications programme.

"This second contract represents the next phase of the original engagement, and is expected to be delivered over approximately 10 months," the company said.

In addition, EnSilica announced a partnership with the 5G-aNTeNna project. 5G-aNTeNna project is part of a European collaboration focused on a planned EU satellite constellation.

"The project places EnSilica in the ground segment of Europe's sovereign satellite infrastructure and gives it a platform to address the wider [satellite communication] market as it moves to 5G-NTN," EnSilica said.
