(Alliance News) - Empresaria Group PLC said Thursday that Chief Executive Officer Spencer Wreford has stood down from the recruitment firm with immediate effect, to be replaced by Chief Operating Officer Rhona Driggs.
Empresaria thanked Wreford for his ten years spent at the firm, initially as chief financial officer, then chief operating officer and subsequently CEO since May 2018.
Driggs has served as COO since November, during this time she has "driven significant positive changes including initiating a more sector led divisional structure, a focus on organic growth and streamlining operations."
"I have accepted the position of Empresaria Group CEO because I see tremendous potential in this company, our industry, and our employees," Driggs said in a statement. "I look forward to leading our efforts to improve our financial and operational performance, execute our growth strategy, and enhance shareholder value."
Following the changes, CFO Tim Anderson will expand his role to include strategic development at the firm.
Shares in Empresaria were 2.7% lower at 72.03 pence in London on Thursday.
