(Alliance News) - 21st Century Technology PLC said Tuesday it has been made aware Edinburgh City Council is recommending the company for a contract to supply real time passenger information for the city's bus network.
The security system supplier said the contract, if awarded, is expected to be valued at GBP2.9 million over an initial five-year period with the option of two four-year extension periods.
21st Century Tech said it is being recommended for the contract "following a competitive tender process".
"There can be no certainty at this time that the contract will be entered into and at this time it is still subject to council approval and final contract agreement," the company added.
Shares in 21st Century Technology were 5.9% lower in London on Tuesday at 3.20 pence each.
