EARNINGS AND TRADING: Atome up as flags fertiliser disruption from war

31st Mar 2026 19:17

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of earnings and trading updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Atome PLC - developer of international green fertiliser projects in Paraguay - Shares rise as it warns Middle East conflict is causing structural disruption to global fertiliser markets, with impacts likely to reshape supply chains long term. Notes supply outages in Qatar and Iran have hit ammonia and urea production, while risks to the Strait of Hormuz threaten up to 30% of global nitrogen flows and 45% of sulphur supply. Says fertiliser prices have surged, with urea up as much as 65% and sulphur more than doubling versus mid-2025 levels. Adds Asia faces production constraints, with India rationing gas and other countries shutting plants. Says the disruption supports its strategy centred on its Paraguay-based Villeta project, which offers local, low-carbon production and supply chain resilience. Notes long-term offtake agreement with Yara International backs its positioning. Director Terje Bakken says: "The world cannot continue to rely on concentrated, fossil-fuel-dependent supply from geopolitically unstable regions to feed its population."

----------

Zenith Energy Ltd - oil company with interests in Italy, Tunisia and the US - Says independent valuation of its Italian solar pipeline rises to EUR54.7 million from EUR27.5 million in December, as capacity increases to 173.5 megawatt peak from 110.5 MWp. Notes the near doubling in valuation reflects both pipeline expansion and asset progression through development stages. Says it plans to monetise part of its renewable portfolio from the ready-to-build stage, targeting the sale of 50 MWp by March 2027 for around EUR41 million. Adds it will retain at least 123.5 MWp for further development and aims to reach 200 MWp of solar assets by end-2026. CEO Andrea Cattaneo says valuation provides "clear third-party validation" of its strategy.

----------

BRCK - Bridgend, Wales-based construction materials distributor - Atlas Holdings LLC makes a preliminary all-cash proposal on March 17 to acquire the company at 65p per share, representing a 62.5% premium to its undisturbed share price and 46.7% to the pre-approach close. The proposal was rejected by the BRCK board on March 23 and remains subject to due diligence, with Atlas citing limited access to non-public information so far. The potential offer would be fully equity-funded and that there is no certainty a firm bid will be made, with a deadline of April 28 to announce a formal intention or withdraw.

----------

CloudCoCo Group PLC - London-based provider of managed IT services and communications solutions - Swings to total comprehensive profit of GBP2.6 million in financial 2025 from a GBP3.1 million loss a year prior, driven by a GBP3.1 million gain on disposal of legacy managed services businesses. Revenue falls to GBP9.6 million from GBP27.5 million, reflecting the disposal, while continuing operations revenue declines to GBP8.0 million from GBP8.7 million. Notes trading Ebitda improves to GBP80,000 from GBP60,000 million and the group exits the year with an annualised revenue run-rate approaching GBP10 million. Adds it repays GBP6.2 million of loan notes, leaving it substantially debt-free, and cuts Plc costs to GBP500,000 from GBP800,000. Highlights post-year-end GBP275,000 fundraise to support growth initiative Project Brightstar. Chair Simon Duckworth says the year was "transformational" and positions the group for scalable growth.

----------

CyanConnode Holdings PLC - Cambridge, England-based developer of narrowband radio frequency mesh networks - Notes Takeover Panel extends deadline for Esyasoft Holding Ltd to make firm offer or walk away to April 28 from March 31, as due diligence continues. Highlights revised all-cash proposal of GBP37.5 million, or 10.44p per share, which board would be willing to recommend unanimously subject to final terms. Cautions there remains no certainty a firm offer will be made.
