Smiths Group said Chief Financial Officer John Shipsey and Non-Executive Director Bill Seeger both purchased shares.Shipsey purchased 25,000 shares at a price of
1,494.00 pence per share. His total shares in the company were not disclosed. Seeger purchased 2,500 shares at a price of 1,496.50p each, and his subsequent total holding was also not disclosed. Shares in the parent group of John Crane, Smiths Medical, Smiths Detection, Smiths Interconnect, and Flex-Tek closed down 1.7% Wednesday afternoon at 1473.83p each.----------
The Independent Investment Trust said Director Douglas McDougall sold shares in the company worth
