DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: MJ Gleeson Director Offloads GBP1.7 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

Urban regeneration and strategic land company MJ Gleeson said a fund on which Non-Executive Director Christopher Mills is a beneficiary has sold GBP1.7 million worth of shares in the company.

MJ Gleeson said North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust, part of Harwood Capital, to which Mills is a beneficiary, sold 298,500 shares at an average of 565.00 pence per share.

Following the sale, Mills has a total beneficial holding of 11.1 million shares in MJ Gleeson, or a stake of around 20%. Shares in MJ Gleeson closed up 0.7% at 0.89p.

Anglo-South African miner Anglo American said Chief Executive Mark Cutifani acquired shares in the company on Monday. Cutifani bought 40,000 shares in the group at 551.00p. No further information on his current holding in the miner was provided. Shares Anglo American closed up 11% at 487.45p.

Infection protection, contamination control and hygiene products manufacturer Tristel said Chairman Francisco Soler bought shares in the company on Monday. Soler purchased 36,521 shares at 113.4p per share, taking his total beneficial holding to 10.9 million shares, or a 26% stake in the business. Shares in Tristel closed up 1.8% at 116.57p.

Financial services firm Jarvis Securities said members of the family of Finance Director Jolyon Head bought shares in the company on Tuesday. Head and his family members bought a total of 1,177 shares at 339.4p per share, taking Head's total beneficial holding to 25,330 shares. The shares were acquired on behalf of his wife, Shona, and children Annabel, Oliver and Reuben. Shares in Jarvis Securities closed up 0.3% at 339.35p.

International Consolidated Airlines Group said Chief Executive Willie Walsh has acquired shares in the company on Tuesday. Walsh bought 50,000 shares in the British Airways and Iberia owner at 541.973p per share. No disclosure was made on Walsh's holding following the purchase. Shares in IAG closed up 0.1% at 541.96p.

Energy market investor Riverstone Energy said Non-Executive Director Pierre Lapeyre Jr acquired shares in the company on Monday. Lapeyre bought 50,000 shares at 790.00p, Riverstone said. No details were given on his holding following the purchase. Shares in Riverstone closed up 1.3% at 798.00p.

Tri-Star Resources said Chief Executive Guy Eastaugh has more than doubled his stake in the company on Tuesday. Eastaugh bought 27.6 million shares at 0.09p per share, taking his total holding up to 40.0 million shares, or 0.5% of Tri-Star's issued share capital. Shares in Tri-Star closed up 27% at 0.0950p.

Recruiter Prime People said Non-Executive Director John Lewis sold shares in the company on Monday. Lewis, through a company controlled by him and his wife, sold 25,000 shares at 99.00p per share. Following the sale, Lewis has a total beneficial holding of 1.0 million shares, or a stake of around 8.3% in the company. As well as being a director of Prime People, Lewis is chairman of Photo-Me International, among other roles. Shares in Prime People closed down 4.0% at 95.00p.

Brammer said Tuesday that Group Finance Director Duncan Magrath bought 30,000 shares at 169.487p Monday. Following this Magrath has an interest in 38,000 shares, or a less than 1.0% stake in the company. Shares in Brammer closed up 1.3% at 167.12p Tuesday afternoon.
