LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.----------Luceco said Chief Executive Officer John Hornby and Non-Executive Chairman Giles Brand bought shares in the LED lighting products company.Hornby acquired 1.0 million shares at a price of 39.74 pence each, worth GBP397,351, while Brand bought 622,919 shares at the same price, totalling GBP247,518.Shares in Luceco closed flat on Thursday at 44.00p each.Following the transactions, both completed on Wednesday, Hornby held 20% interest in the company while Brand's holding totalled 5.9%.----------Restaurant, pub & bar operator Mitchells & Butlers said Chief Executive Officer Phil Urban purchased 16,094 shares in the company at 247.21P each, worth GBP39,786. Urban's total holding in the company was undisclosed. Shares in Mitchells & Butlers closed down 6.2% at 241.40p each. ----------Medical equipment manufacturer Smith & Nephew said a person closely associated with Chief Financial Officer Graham Baker purchased 1,494 shares at 1,331.09p each. Associate Anne-Marie Baker also purchased 7,494 shares at an average price of 1,230.10p each. Shares in Smith & Nephew closed up 1.3% at 1,338.50p each.----------4imprint Group said Company Secretary Andrew Scull sold shares in the promotional merchandise firm in a transaction on Tuesday. Scull disposed 10,806 shares at a price of 2,013.30p each, worth GBP217,557. Shares in 4imprint closed 6.2% lower at 1,905.00p each.----------Proteome Science said Vulpes Life Sciences Fund, a firm related to a non-executive director Martin Diggle, has bought shares in the company. Diggle is a director of both Vulpes Life Sciences and Proteome. Vulpes Life Sciences has purchased 328,000 shares in Proteome at 3.5p each. Following this transaction, Vulpes now holds 56.4 million shares, equivalent to 19% holding. Shares in Proteome closed up 6.2 % at 3.76p each. ----------Independent Investment Trust said Chairman Douglas McDougall sold 25,000 shares in the company at 761.20p each on Wednesday. Shares in Independent Investment Trust closed down 2.7% at 732.00p each. ----------Motor retailer Caffyns said Non-Executive Director Nigel Gourlay purchased 1,898 shares at a price of 449p per share on Tuesday.
