DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Roadside Real Estate CEO buys after Hoch purchase

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced so far in April and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Roadside Real Estate PLC - Abingdon, England-based investor in roadside property such as petrol stations and convenience stores - Chief Executive Officer Charles Dickson buys 410,000 shares at 60.15 pence, worth GBP246,615, on Wednesday last week. On Monday last week, Roadside Real Estate said it agreed to buy Hoch Group Ltd for GBP28.6 million. Hoch owns a portfolio of 12 petrol station forecourts and one standalone convenience store in Cumbria, north west England. The portfolio produced pretax profit of GBP1.8 million on revenue of GBP68.8 million in the financial year that ended in March last year and is expected to be immediately earnings accretive, Roadside said at the time. It will fund the acquisition with a new GBP25.0 million revolving credit facility from HSBC and a drawdown of its existing facility with Tarncourt.

FDM Group Holdings PLC - London-based IT-focused professional services provider - Logiealmond Estate Ltd, a company controlled by CEO Roderick Flavell and Chief Operating Officer Sheila Flavell, buys 285,175 shares at GBP1.06, worth GBP301,145, on Friday.

Churchill China PLC - Stoke-on-Trent, England-based ceramics maker - Sales & Marketing Director James Roper sells 30,000 shares at 344p, worth GBP103,200, on Friday. Roper retains 994,035 shares, a 0.0% stake.

Filtronic PLC - Sedgefield, England-based maker of advanced micro electronics - Chief Financial Officer Michael Tyerman sells 240,631 shares, about half is existing holding, for 205p, worth GBP493,294, on April 9. Tyerman retains 250,000 shares and also has options for 1.4 million shares. The same day, Non-Executive Director Peter Magowan sells 100,000 shares, also at 205p, worth GBP205,000. Magowan retains 650,000 shares, a 0.3% stake.

Legal & General Group PLC - London-based insurer and asset manager - Chief Risk Officer Chris Knight sells 200,000 shares at GBP2.55, worth GBP490,800, on April 1 and 82,612 shares at GBP2.61, worth GBP215,535, on April 9. Knight sold 100,000 shares in late March.

Oxford Nanopore Technologies PLC - Oxford, England-based specialist in DNA and RNA sequencing technologies - CEO Francis Van Parys buys 88,670 shares at GBP1.13, worth GBP99,966, on April 2.

Crystal Amber Fund Ltd - activist fund investing in small and mid-cap UK equities - Investment Adviser Richard Bernstein buys 100,000 shares at GBP1.02, worth GBP101,727, on March 31. Bernstein now holds 150,000 shares directly and 2.2 million shares indirectly via Crystal Amber Asset Management Ltd.

Real Estate Investors PLC - real estate investment trust focused on commercial property in the English Midlands - CEO Paul Bassi buys 204,035 shares at average 30.38p, worth GBP61,976, on April 10. Bassi now has 18.4 million shares, a 10.7% stake.
