Melrose Industries PLC - Birmingham, England-based aerospace and defence business - Chair Chris Grigg and spouse buy 20,000 shares at 472.19 pence on Tuesday in London. Worth total GBP94,438. Grigg and his wife now jointly hold 83,637 shares in Melrose.

Rathbones Group PLC - London-based investment and wealth manager - Chief Executive Jonathan Sorrell buys 15,320 shares at GBP16.30 each on Tuesday, worth total GBP249,716. Further, Chair Clive Bannister buys 15,300 shares at GBP16.38 on Tuesday in London, worth total GBP250,614. Earlier Tuesday, Rathbones warned of a profit hit as it has voluntarily halted new inflows from some existing high-risk clients until they "meet certain requirements". It outlined a series of moves after a skilled person review, which followed engagement with the UK Financial Conduct Authority and expects a GBP60 million profit hit over the next two years.
