LONDON (Alliance News) - Diageo PLC on Wednesday said it appointed Debra Crew as non-executive director of the company with effect from April 18.
Crew currently serves on the boards of Stanley Black & Decker Inc, Newell Brands and Mondelez International.
She is the former president and chief executive of Reynolds American Inc. Before joining Reynolds, she spent five years at US beverages giant PepsiCo Inc where she served as president of several divisions, including North America Nutrition, Americas Beverages and Western Europe Region.
Prior to joining Pepsi, Crew held roles with several international food companies, including Kraft Heinz Co, Nestle SA and Mars Inc.
Diageo shares were trading up 0.2% at 3,136.50 pence each early Wednesday morning.
