Gemfields Group Ltd - London-headquartered gemstones supplier - Chandana Venkata Suresh, director of operations for Africa, sells 3.5 million shares at an average ZAR3.25 apiece after exercising options. The sale is worth ZAR11.2 million before factoring in the purchase costs of the options. In April, the company said he exercised 783,100 share options at a price of ZAR2.97 and 2.7 million share options at a price of ZAR2.30.
The Gemfields director holds 95,600 shares, representing 0.01% of the company.
