LONDON (Alliance News) - Conroy Gold & Natural Resources PLC said on Tuesday it has raised GBP500,000 to keep funding its gold development assets.
The Irish miner placed 3.6 million new shares at a price of 13.75 pence each. Shares were 10% higher Tuesday at 12.65p.
Conroy said the money would go in particular towards to Clontibret deposit, as well as the Clay Lake, Glenish, and Slieve Glah prospects, all located in Ireland.
Chairman Richard Conroy commented: "I am pleased to report this placing will allow the momentum achieved from the excellent drilling results we recently reported to be continued over the coming months."
