LONDON (Alliance News) - Conroy Gold & Natural Resources PLC on Monday said it has intersected high-grade gold during infill drilling at the Clontibret project in County Monaghan in Ireland.
Conroy said the results so far provide further evidence of high-grade gold mineralisation at the prospect, including intersections of 2.5 metress at 25.29 grams per tonne of gold in one hole.
"I am very pleased with these high grades of gold and continuity of mineralisation as we move forward with our plans for the development of a gold and antimony mine at Clontibret," said Richard Conroy, Chairman of Conroy Gold.
Shares in Conroy were up 15% to 0.917 pence in early trade, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share index.
