LONDON (Alliance News) - Conroy Gold & Natural Resources PLC on Thursday said an independent study has established an exploration target of 5.0 million ounces of gold at the Clay Lake and Clontibret projects in Ireland.
Conroy said the target is "conceptual in nature" as the combined target will require further drilling, and there is no certainty future resource estimates will meet the exploration target.
"The establishment of a combined exploration target of 5 million ounces of gold at Clay Lake - Clontibret is a major step forward for the company, at a time when the price of gold is also rising again," said Richard Conroy, Conroy's chairman.
Conroy shares were down 1.4% to 17.25 pence.
