LONDON (Alliance News) - Conroy Gold & Natural Resources PLC Wednesday said that final mineralogical and metallurgical test results confirm the technical viability of using the biooxidation technique to process ore at Clontibret, in Ireland.
The Ireland-focused gold mining company said that the maximum gold extractions received on its samples from the site using the process were 90.4% and 87.1%.
The company also said overall recoveries confirmed by Tetra Tech, who carried out the tests, to be in line with their independent Scoping Study.
Biox is a technology for treating gold sulphide concentrate used in a number of plants in operation worldwide including South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, China and Australia.
Conroy Gold & Natural Resources shares up 2.7% to 2.26 pence Wednesday.
