(Alliance News) - Huntsworth PLC's suitor CD&R Artemis UK Bidco Ltd on Friday said it will not increase its takeover bid for the healthcare public relations firm.
Huntsworth on Tuesday said it agreed to a GBP400 million takeover by CD&R, an entity fronted by New York-based Clayton Dubilier & Rice LLP.
CD&R said the 108 pence per share offer is final, "and will not be increased".
CD&R added: "Bidco is making good progress in relation to the acquisition and Bidco's expectation is that the acquisition will close in the second quarter of 2020.
Huntsworth shares closed flat at 109.00p each in London on Friday.
