(Alliance News) - Clarkson PLC on Wednesday confirmed that its new chief financial officer will be joining in November.
The London-based shipping services company, which has been in business for just under 175 years, in June disclosed it had hired Niamh Staunton from oil major BP PLC as its new CFO.
Staunton is currently senior vice president for Finance & Risk in BP's Supply, Trading & Shipping division, having previously worked as group treasurer.
She will join Clarkson as CFO and executive director, effective November 11, replacing Jeff Woyda, who has stepped down as CFO and chief operating officer after 19 years with the company.
In May, Clarkson moved Harriet Oliver to chief operating officer from head of Human Resources.
Clarkson shares edged up 0.9% to 5,345.00 pence each on Wednesday morning in London, having risen 54% over the past year.
Last week, the company boosted annual profit guidance, now targeting at least GBP135.0 million in underlying pretax profit for 2026. In 2025, it reported underlying pretax profit of GBP90.6 million.
