LONDON (Alliance News) - Zimbabwe and South Africa-focused investor Masawara PLC said Wednesday that Non-Executive Director Christopher Getley has replaced David Suratgar as non-executive chairman, with effect from Tuesday.
The change at the top was announced in a statement following the company's annual general meeting, at which all resolutions were approved. Getley had joined the board in December.
"The board extends its deepest gratitude to David for ably steering the board from the company's listing in 2010. We hope to continue to benefit from David's support in future," Getley said in the statement.
Shares in Masawara were untraded Wednesday. They last closed at 48.00 pence.
