(Alliance News) - Cerillion PLC on Monday announced it has secured its largest ever contract win to date, a 10-year agreement worth a total of USD18.4 million with an unnamed full-service network operator in Latin America.
The London-based billing and customer relations management software firm said the contract is for the supply and implementation of its Enterprise Business Support System/Operations Support System suite. This includes full support services over the 10-year term, it added.
Shares in Cerillion were up 6.7% at 430.00 pence in London on Monday.
The tender process was "rigorous and extensive", Cerillion said, with the customer being the main telecoms provider in its national market. It supplies fixed, pre and post-paid mobile, and broadband services to both business-to-business and business-to-consumer customers.
The contract, along with a smaller GBP2.7 million extension recently secured with an existing customer in Europe, is anticipated to result in Cerillion exceeding current management expectations for pretax profit in the current financial year ending September 30.
In financial 2020, Cerillion recorded pretax profit of GBP2.6 million on revenue of GBP20.8 million.
