(Alliance News) - Cerillion PLC on Thursday announced its largest ever contract, with Oman's Telecommunications, the country's first telecommunications services provider also known as Omantel.
The London-based billing, charging and customer relationship management software company said under the GBP42.5 million contract with Omantel, it will host and manage services over a five-year subscription term.
Cerillion's technology and services will support Omantel's mobile, fixed-line and broadband services.
Cerillion highlighted that the contract win helped it to underpin existing market forecasts for the current financial year that runs until the end of September, and beyond.
Cerillion Chief Executive Officer Louis Hall said: "Omantel is transforming itself into a regional technology powerhouse and expanding Oman's digital infrastructure with advanced innovation initiatives, in support of Oman Vision 2040, which is guiding the country's economic development."
Cerillion shares rose 12% to 1,380.00 pence each on Thursday morning in London.
