23rd May 2016 07:32

LONDON (Alliance News) - Customer relationship management software firm Cerillion PLC declared its maiden interim dividend as pretax profit and revenue grew in its first half.

Cerillion, which floated on AIM in March, said pretax profit for the six months to the end of March was GBP703,474, compared to GBP588,906 a year earlier.

Revenue grew to GBP6.9 million from GBP6.2 million, with software revenue growing 30% and services revenue up 2.0%. Recurring revenue grew 22% to GBP2.2 million in the half, representing 32% of total revenue for the company.

Cerillion said its back order book at the end of the half was GBP13.3 million, more than double the GBP6.5 million on its books a year earlier.

The group said it will pay an interim dividend of 1.30 pence, its maiden payout.

Cerillion said it has continued to make progress on the software business so far in the second half, and trading remains in line with its full-year expectations.

Cerillion shares were down 2.8% to 122.00 pence Monday.
