(Alliance News) - Castleton Technology PLC on Tuesday said its acquisition by MRI Software LLC was backed at a court and general meeting.
Just shy of 100% of shareholders backed the acquisition and a further court hearing to sanction the deal is expected on June 3. Castleton shares will then be suspended on June 4, before cancellation a day later, the software and managed services provider explained.
Castleton agreed to the GBP82.8 million takeover by the real estate investment management software provider back in April.
Shares in the company closed untraded at 94.50 pence each in London on Tuesday.
