Camco Clean Energy Says First Jabil Storage System Delivered To RedT

30th Oct 2015 08:36

LONDON (Alliance News) - Camco Clean Energy PLC on Friday said its RedT Energy energy storage business has reported the first delivery of a Jabil manufactured storage system to its development centre in Wokingham.

The 40 kilowatt hour unit is the first of the units to be delivered on site and will be installed and commissioned at the facility.

"I am delighted to announce that today marks a key milestone for RedT in delivering our first manufactured production unit. After 15 years of research, development, prototyping and testing, the system is complete enabling RedT to move the business into the commercial phase through delivery of its first product," said Scott McGregor, Camco's chief executive.

Shares in Camco were untraded Friday morning, having last traded at 5.51 pence.
