LONDON (Alliance News) - Burford Capital Ltd outlined a slew of changes to its management team on Monday, with a chief operating officer and managing director appointed and its chief financial officer to leave.
Jeremy Garber will become chief operating officer at the litigation finance business. He most recently worked as the chief operating officer at both Trilogy Capital Management LLC and at Longacre Fund Management LLC.
Burford also appointed Nick Rowles-Davies as its managing director and head of its UK business.
Elsewhere, Chief Financial Officer Miriam Connole has left the company in order to pursue other opportunities, Burford said. Jamie Knowles, its UK-based group financial controller, and Christina Yue, its US-based vice-president of finance, will take over Connole's duties, reporting to Garber.
"These senior management changes reflect Burford's continuing development, as we respond to our growing market, and structure the business optimally to take advantage of the opportunities we see," said Burford Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bogart and Chief Investment Officer Jonathan Molot in a statement.
Burford shares were untraded on Monday, last traded at 121.00 pence.
