(Alliance News) - Bridgepoint Group PLC on Thursday named Ruth Prior as its new chief financial officer.
Prior succeeds Adam Jones, who will continue as CFO of the the London-based private equity investor until her appointment takes effect later this year.
Jones has been with the company for six years.
Prior is currently CFO of Element Materials Technology Ltd, a former Bridgepoint portfolio company and provider of testing, inspection and certification services.
Before that Prior was finance chief of bookmaker William Hill, which, at the time, was a FTSE 250 firm. William Hill is since July 2022 owned by 888 Holdings PLC. Prior left in 2020, having joined in 2017.
She also spent some time at Worldpay as its chief operating officer.
Chief Executive Raoul Hughes said: "We are delighted that Ruth is joining Bridgepoint and look forward to welcoming her later in 2024. As a highly experienced CFO in both the listed and private sectors, Ruth brings substantial experience to the role as Bridgepoint continues to build its market presence and capabilities."
Shares in Bridgepoint were down 1.4% to 234.20 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
