Billing Services Proposes Cancellation Of Shares Following Unit Sale

30th Mar 2020 18:17

(Alliance News) - Billing Services Group Ltd said Monday it will convene its annual general meeting on April 30, where it will propose the cancellation of its shares trading on London's AIM.

The IT service management firm said that following the sale of BSG Wireless at the end of February, Billing Services is of the view that the listing on AIM is not worth the ongoing costs and management time, as well as the regulatory and administrative burden.

The resolution for cancelling the shares require shareholder approval of over 75% to pass, which will lead to Billing Services's shares being cancelled on May 11.

Shares in Billing Services Group closed 3.8% higher at 3.37 pence on Monday in London.
