Bezant, Xtract In No Legal Issues At Kalengwa Despite Ownership Report

(Alliance News) - Bezant Resources PLC and Xtract Resources PLC on Wednesday noted media reports in Zambia, which put the ownership of the Kalengwa copper project mining licence into question.

The duo have stakes in the asset, with Bezant acting as its operator.

In near identical statements on Wednesday, Bezant and Xtraxt said they were "aware of recent Zambian media reports questioning the legal ownership of the mining licence relating to the Kalengwa processing project in Zambia".

The duo stated that they have been served with any legal proceedings or restraint order, however.

Bezant shares closed 4.0% higher at 0.18 pence each in London on Wednesday. Xtract shares closed down 3.0% at 1.31p.
