(Alliance News) - Autins Group PLC said Monday it has appointed Kamran Munir as chief financial officer with effect from January 1.
Kamran joins Autins from Precision Castparts Corp, a NYSE-listed manufacturer of complex metal components and products. He began in 2008 as finance director for Precision Castparts subsidiary Special Metals Ltd, a specialist alloys producer, and was more recently European finance director for another Precision Castparts subsidiary Timet Ltd, a manufacturer of titanium alloys for the aerospace industry.
Prior to Precision Castparts, Kamran was European financial controller for SPX Corp and CEO of Spectral Fusion Technologies Ltd.
Adam Attwood, chair of Autins, said: "I am delighted to welcome Kamran to the Autins' board. He is an experienced financial professional with a strong track record of improving operational performance, cashflow management and profitability in manufacturing companies."
Autins shares closed 0.5% higher in London at 20.60 pence each on Monday.
