Auction Technology expects to beat market view as hails deal with JMA

22nd Oct 2026 13:10

(Alliance News) - Auction Technology Group PLC on Thursday announced an expanded partnership with Jeff Martin Auctioneers as it said it beat market expectations in the recent financial year.

The London-based auction market operator said it expects to report that revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were slightly ahead of current market expectations in the financial year that ended September 30. It cited a revenue range of USD247.8 million to USD252.1 million with a mid-point of USD249.9 million and an adjusted Ebitda range of USD85.5 million to USD86.7 million with a mid-point of USD86.3 million.

Adjusted Ebitda was USD76.8 million in financial 2025, placing the mid-point forecast 12% higher.

Auction Technology said it expects to report revenue of USD251 million for the recent year, which would be a 32% jump from USD190.2 million in financial 2025.

For financial 2027, the company anticipates performance in line with current market expectations, citing a revenue range of USD258.2 million to USD274.6 million with a mid-point of USD262.7 million and an adjusted Ebitda range of USD93.6 million to USD100.8 million with a mid-point of USD95.9 million.

Auction Technology will publish results for the financial year ended September 30 on November 24.

Separately, the company announced Proxibid's expanded partnership with Jeff Martin Auctioneers, one of the UK's "premier" heavy equipment auction houses.

Proxibid is an online marketplace for live and timed auctions, and a part of Auction Technology.

From November 1, Proxibid will become JMA's exclusive third-party online marketplace alongside JMA's own proprietary platform, which Auction Technology said reinforces a partnership between the two firms that dates back over a decade.

Auction Technology Chief Executive Officer Duncan Painter said: "We're proud to be JMA's third-party marketplace platform partner and remain focused on delivering a comprehensive platform and buyer reach that supports their business growth."

Auction Technology shares were up 0.1% at 481.00 pence each on Thursday afternoon in London.
