(Alliance News) - AstraZeneca PLC on Tuesday announced that its subsidiary AstraZeneca Finance LLC had priced four tranches of eurobonds.
The Cambridge, England-based pharmaceutical company said the eurobonds are worth EUR2.55 billion in total.
The offering is expected to close on September 1 and it consists of: EUR700 million of fixed rate notes with a coupon of 3.402%, maturing March 1, 2030; EUR600 million of fixed rate notes with a coupon of 3.652%, maturing September 1, 2032; EUR500 million of fixed rate notes with a coupon of 3.923%, maturing September 1, 2035; EUR750 million of fixed rate notes with a coupon of4.169%, maturing September 1, 2038.
The company said it will use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.
AstraZeneca shares rose 0.3% to 12,142.00 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
