Asiamet Resources Focused On Progressing Indonesian Projects

27th Nov 2015 08:58

LONDON (Alliance News) - Asiamet Resources Ltd on Friday said it remains focused on progressing its projects in Indonesia and said talks with potential partners are ongoing.

The company said its main focus remains evaluating the potential for a medium-scale copper mine at the Beruang Kanan project in central Kalimantan in Indonesia. In the remainder of 2015, the company will be working on progressing talks with potential partners for the project.

The group also said it will be working in finalising the conversion of its Beutong Izin Usaha Pertambangan copper prospect and the Jelai Izin Usaha Pertambangan gold project, also both in Indonesia, towards production licences. The Jelai project has been determined to be lower-priority than the other assets, so Asiamet is working on divesting the project.

Shares in Asiamet were down 7.7% to 1.292 pence on Friday morning.
