Asiamet Notes Rising Share Price And Increased Trading Volumes

24th Mar 2016 10:57

LONDON (Alliance News) - Asiamet Resources Ltd Thursday said it is aware of the rise in its share price and the increased trading volumes over the last ten days, and confirmed its progress at three projects in Indonesia remain on track.

Asiamet shares were trading up 6.0% to 3.66 pence per share on Thursday morning.

Since March 11, Asiamet shares have increased from 1.40 pence per share - meaning its current share price is 1.6 times higher than at the close of that date.

Trading volumes are also markedly up. On Thursday, around 31.8 million Asiamet shares had been traded compared to an average of only 7.5 million shares.

The company said it still plans to release the findings of the preliminary economic assessment for the Beurang Kanan Main deposit in Indonesia at the end of the first quarter of 2016, and said it is continuing to progress the conversion of its exploration licenses covering the Beutong and Jelai

projects in Indonesia into production licences.
