Results included 17 metres at 1.3% copper at hole BKM32240-01, which also included 1m at 14% copper and 1m at 18% copper.
From hole BKM32574-01, Asiamet found 69.2m at 1.4% copper, including 1m at 25% copper and 4.2m at 12% copper.
Asiamet has not received results from its entire 2017/2018 geotechnical drill programme made up of six holes, which was undertaken as part of its ongoing feasibility study into the project. It expects to complete the study by the middle of the year.
Chief Executive Peter Bird said: "The geotechnical programme is an important milestone within the context of the BKM feasibility process to allow more accurate design parameters for the open pit and associated infrastructure."
"The assay results announced in this release further validate the previous assessments of the BKM feasibility with respect to mineralogy. The tenor of the grade was higher than anticipated and suggests that a number of higher grade "pods" may be encountered in the earlier stages of mining."
